Welcome To Cedar Road Primary School

"Our ethos is based around building core values of respect, integrity, care compassion, hope and responsibility throughout our school community, as well as ensuring that each pupil has the ambition to achieve as highly as he / she can. "

A very warm welcome to Cedar Road Primary School.

I feel very privileged to be part of the team at Cedar Road Primary School. It is a learning community that provides a very valuable and supportive environment for all stakeholders. We have a strong desire to constantly improve.

We are a successful over subscribed school situated near Abington Park in Northampton town. We have two classes of 30 pupils in each year group and the year group teams work very closely together to deliver a high standard of education, experience and enjoyment for every pupil. Our ethos is based around building core values of respect, integrity, care compassion, hope and responsibility throughout our school community, as well as ensuring that each pupil has the ambition to achieve as highly as he / she can.

At Cedar Road Primary we want all of our pupils to feel valued, confident and excited about their learning. Every pupil has the opportunity to succeed and challenge themselves to become the best they can be. We aim to nurture our children to enjoy a life long love of learning and to help them become thoughtful and caring members of the community.

As part of the David Ross Education Trust, we provide a wide range of opportunities and experiences for our children.  As well as striving for academic excellence, we want our pupils to find and develop new talents and interests. Many of our children have performed Shakespeare at the Derngate Theatre, sung in an Opera accompanied by world-acclaimed professionals, competed in sporting festivals alongside famous Olympic greats like Sir Steve Redgrave and Dame Kelly Holmes and performed in concerts with the Voices Foundation.

If you would like to visit the school or require any further information about Cedar Road Primary, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can arrange a tour for you.
